HISTORY AND PURPOSE
Founded and incorporated in 1986, the Asian American Chamber of
Commerce outlined objectives that continue to evolve and meet
the various needs of the Asian American community.
MISSION
Represent and serve as the preeminent resource for Asian American
businesses in Central Florida by positively contributing to the
community through increased involvement in civic, business and
government affairs, networking, promoting trade and investment,
and keeping abreast of today’s increasingly dynamic business marketplace.

The Asian American Federation of Florida (AAFF) is a 501(c)(3) coalition that aims to unity and collaboration among the various Asian Pacific American organizations and to improve the relationship of a culturally diverse Asian Pacific American community in Florida. The AAFF is a statewide organization made up of more than 70 Bangladesh, Burmese, Cambodian, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Iranian, Korean, Laotian, Taiwanese, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese faith-based and community-based organizations, businesses and media.

The Asian American Heritage
Council, also known as AAHC, is an organization of Asian American
organizations in Central Florida – groups ranging from social,
cultural, business, religious, educational, professional, to health
& fitness and diversity networks.
The organization
began in 1980 when the U.S. President proclaimed in May a National
Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Community leaders of ethnic
associations representing various countries of Asia led by the
Philippines, China, Vietnam, India, Malaysia, Korea, and Laos,
organized the Asian Pacific American Heritage Council, or APAHC.
In 1995, the group reorganized as the AAHC, the Asian American
Heritage Council, to include all 41 countries of Asia.

The Chinese School of CAACF, based in Orlando,
Florida, is one of the most established and premiere Chinese schools
in the state. Offering a variety of language and cultural courses,

environment. Currently serving over 200 grade-school kids, high-school
and college students, and adults, the school has promoted the
Chinese language, culture, and ethnicity in Central Florida for
over 25 years.

REACH is a non-profit organization formed under the Florida State Article of Incorporation on Feb 1, 2010. REACH is found by three Asian American teenagers, Hans Lau, Frank Lau, and Tiffany Tang. They believe that they are a new generation grown up in America who not only possess strong democratic spirit and freedom, but also recognize that our Asian cultural heritage has a profound impact on their progress and personal success. They strive to reach out and share this Asian cultural heritage to the Asian community. Thanks to Tiffany’s creative naming, our group is Recognizing, Experiencing, Asian, Cultural, Heritage, or REACH. Through the active participation, communication and contribution to the community, that can promote mutual understanding and appreciation, reaching out to make our community a better place to live.
REACH invites students from all High Schools and Middle Schools within the Central Florida region as members. REACH has both a facebook and a website. They welcome teenagers to join REACH as members. The membership form can be founded on the website under “Get Involved” and the Facebook page. REACH will post monthly event schedules on the facebook and website, so any members can sign up for any activity that they want to participate.
